Art. 280 Attacks on the right to vote

Any person who by the use of violence or the threat of seriously detrimental consequences prevents a voter from exercising his right to vote or to sign a petition requesting a referendum or initiative, andany person who by the use of violence or the threat of seriously detrimental consequences coerces a voter into exercising his voting rights or into voting in a particular way,shall be liable to a custodial sentence not exceeding three years or to a monetary penalty.
