Summary:	On 10 January 2020, the Cour d'appel pénale held a hearing on the appeal proceedings of P.________ against the judgment of the Tribunal de police de l'arrondissement de La Côte. P.________ did not appear, although he was duly summoned. Since he did not present a valid apology, the appeal was considered withdrawn. The judgment of June 20, 2019 was thus declared final and enforceable, and the procedural costs of CHF 730 were imposed on p.________. The verdict can be appealed to the Federal Court.
