Summary:	At the trial of 14 January 2020 before the Criminal Court, Q.________ was present as a defendant, represented by the public defender Me Stéphane Coudray, and the Public Ministry, represented by the public prosecutor of the Est vaudois district, as well as the plaintiff P.________. The defendant had appealed against the verdict of the Est vaudois District Court, which had convicted him of violations of the Federal Law on Old-Age and Survivors' Insurance, as well as the Federal Law on Occupational Pension Provision. The court held that the appeal was admissible and ordered a new investigation. It was also established that the defendant is entitled to legal assistance. The judgment has been forwarded to the parties involved as well as to the competent authorities and can be challenged in the Federal Court.
