Summary:	The Cour d'appel Pénale has ruled on several appeals in a case of violations of the Medicines Act. Y.________ was convicted of trading medicines abroad without a permit and exporting medicines without a permit, while X.________ was acquitted. After a decision of the Federal Court, the case was referred back to the cantonal authority for a new decision. It was found that the requested security measure to secure a claim for compensation was not justified. The appeals were rejected, and the costs were distributed among the parties and the state. It was established that the verdict is enforceable and that there is a possibility of further appeal to the Federal Court.
