Summary:	The Cour d'appel Pénale has ruled in a case of negligent homicide, serious violation of traffic rules and driver escape. The defendant was acquitted of negligent homicide, but found guilty of serious violation of traffic rules and evading the driver. She was sentenced to a fine of 70 daily rates of 20 francs each. The cost of the procedure was partially reduced, and the lawyer's fees were taken into account. Some claims of the plaintiffs were withdrawn, and the defendant was exempted from some civil claims. In total, the defendant was sentenced to a fine, with the possibility of deferment and a probationary period of two years.
