Summary:	The decision of 31 December 2019 concerns an appeal procedure regarding protective measures for the marital union. The president of the Civil Court of the District of La Côte had decided on November 21, 2019 that the couple may live separately, the children are entrusted to the mother and the father has visitation rights. The husband appealed against this decision, but missed the deadline and did not give sufficient grounds for the appeal, as a result of which it was declared inadmissible. The decision of the court is free of charge and can be challenged in the Federal Court if the value of the dispute has been reached.
