Summary:	The Chambre des recours pénale has ruled in a judgment of January 28, 2020 on the complaints of B.P.________ and I.P.________, which were directed against the refusal of a request for withholding evidence by the Prosecutor's Office of the Est vaudois district. It was about an extensive drug trafficking network on the Riviera vaudoise, which was revealed by technical surveillance measures, including GPS locations, wiretapping of conversations and direct telephone checks. The public prosecutor's office had collected evidence from abroad, which was classified by the Federal Court as unlawful and unusable. The Chambre des recours pénale has overturned the decision of the public prosecutor's office and referred the case back for reconsideration. The costs and compensation for the defenders were also determined.
