Summary:	The secretary, a Turkish national, applied for disability insurance benefits in February 2015 due to mental health problems. According to various medical reports, it was found that she has been suffering from severe mental disorders since 2011, which severely impair her ability to work. Nevertheless, her application for a disability pension was rejected because, according to the applicable laws, she would have to have at least three years of contribution periods, which she did not fulfill. However, she was not properly notified of the decision, which led to a delay in filing her appeal. Ultimately, her appeal was rejected in court because she did not meet the required contribution periods.
