Summary:	In the present case, it was about the insured person's right to a child's pension in relation to his son G.________ between January and May 2019. Caisse AVS had canceled the child's pension for G.________, since he completed his military service during this time. The insured appealed against this and challenged the decision. Having considered the legal bases and the specific situation of the insured's son, the court came to the conclusion that the period of military service could not be considered a break in training. As a result, the insured's objection was approved, the decision of Caisse AVS was annulled and the matter was referred back to Caisse AVS for reconsideration. No court costs were charged, and the insured was awarded compensation for legal fees in the amount of CHF 1,000.
